Your notes stay with you.

The tools on this website work without an account. Your training notes are stored in the browser you use.

What this website stores

The training log stores the entries you choose to save in your browser’s local storage. The outing checklist stores checked items, and the household cue card stores the fields you choose to save. These features do not send your entries to a Dogday Lab server.

The routine builder and enrichment finder assemble suggestions in the page. They do not submit your choices to a server. The practice timer runs in your browser. The site does not include advertising pixels, third-party analytics scripts or a mailing-list form.

Search loads the site’s public search index and filters it on your device. If you submit a search, the query may appear in your browser’s address bar and history. Do not use the search field for private personal information.

Device access and deletion

Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see locally saved notes. Local storage is not an encrypted private account and does not synchronize across devices. Avoid storing addresses, access codes, private medical records or other sensitive information.

Delete individual training log entries or use the clear-all control. The cue card has a clear-saved-card control. Reset the outing checklist to remove its selected items. You can also remove all stored site data using your browser’s settings.

Private browsing, storage restrictions, clearing browser data or changing devices can remove notes. Export a copy of information you want to retain. Downloaded text and CSV files remain wherever you save them until you delete them yourself.

Hosting and connection information

This website is served over HTTPS from a Namecheap VPS. To deliver and protect the site, the hosting infrastructure processes connection information such as IP addresses, requested paths and timestamps.

Tool entries remain in your browser and are not submitted with those requests. We do not run visitor analytics, advertising pixels, a mailing-list service or website user accounts.

External links and the DogPath app

When you follow a store, publisher or source link, the destination controls its own data practices. Apple, Google, Rocket Digital and the referenced organizations may process information according to their own policies.

DogPath is a separate application. Its features, permissions and privacy disclosures are described in the app and its current store information. This website’s local-storage description does not describe the app’s processing.

A closer look

Know which copy of a note you are using.

A note can exist in more than one place after you save, download or print it. The browser’s stored entry, a downloaded file and a sheet handed to another person are separate copies. Understanding that difference helps you keep the current reference clear and remove information from the place where it actually remains.

Saved browser data belongs to that browsing context

The locally saved tools use the browser profile and website address you opened. A different browser, another profile or a different preview address may show a separate set of notes. An empty log in that context does not establish that a note was sent elsewhere. Check which browser and address held the original entry.

Storage restrictions can prevent saving, and private browsing or clearing site data can affect what remains. Where the tool reports a saving problem, keep a downloaded copy of information you want to retain. The website does not provide a remote account you can sign into to restore these local notes on another device.

Downloads and printed copies have their own location

A downloaded training log or cue card remains in the location selected by your browser or file-saving choice. Clearing an entry on the website does not remove that separate file. Likewise, a printed sheet or a local PDF made through the print dialog stays wherever you keep it until you manage that copy yourself.

If you share a copy with a caregiver, consider what it includes and how it will be kept current. The site cannot update or retrieve a file after you have passed it on. A short note about the relevant exercise is usually more appropriate for an ordinary handover than private household or medical information.

Following an external link changes the context

Store, source and contact links lead away from this website. Reading a source, viewing an app listing or using a contact page takes place under that destination’s own service and privacy information. A link does not make the destination part of this website’s local note storage. Check the destination before sharing information, especially when following a saved or forwarded link.

If you choose to contact the publisher, send only the information needed for the question. Never include a password or secret to explain a website issue. The training tools do not need an app login, payment details or a full personal case record in order to generate an example or save an ordinary local note.
